Toni Perrin, Artist & Teacher
Toni Perrin paints en plein aire (outdoor studies from nature),
landscapes, and portraits in oil. She is the wife of Charles E.
Perrin, retired from Eli Lilly and Dow Corporations, mother of
three, and grandmother of two. Toni is a retired art teacher,
museum docent art educator (Roanoke Fine Arts Center and
Indianapolis Museum of Art), and a Deacon in the Presbyterian
Church.
"I taught art for years, taking great pleasure and pride in
watching the skills of my students grow. Now it is my time to be
both teacher and student.
Each plein aire study is a new mystery revealed, a new puzzle
solved, a new beautiful place to praise with paint. Nature
teaches me something every time I step outside my door, and I
am grateful. Every painting is a prayer of thanks and joy. Lets
share that experience."
