The Artist's Studio
at the Farm at South Mountain
Mary Clark- It teaches, it inspires, it holds up
your food……Glass.
Mary has been fascinated with it as an art form all
her life. First, through leaded and carved glass
and currently via fused and kiln formed glass,
Mary loves both the inspirational and utilitarian
aspects of the medium.
A native of Arizona, Mary grew up in the Desert
and graduated from Arizona State University
with a degree in Studio Art, pursued graduate
work in Art History, but slipped back into the
trenches of the studio when she discovered
fusing.
Mary enjoys creating the pieces that hold up the
food, but more than anything else, she loves
capturing a spark of inspiration that connects at a
personal level through her altars.
Now many of Mary’s pieces have found residence
in kitchens, dining rooms, and sacred spaces in
homes throughout the world. It’s a joyful thing!
